Challenge: Tapping blind M8×1.25 in 304 stainless caused sticking, heat, and inconsistent thread finish.
Solution: Moved to Great CNC Machine spiral-flute taps with a 35° helix and TiCN coating. Setup: VMC, rigid tapping, 1.5D depth, cutting speed ~12 m/min, ~480 rpm, feed ≈ 600 mm/min, rich emulsion external coolant (internal coolant version recommended for deeper holes).
