VTL-160A Vertical CNC Lathe Structural Characteristics
The lathe machine consists of chassis, column, beam, worktable drive, ram head,hydraulic system, pneumatic system, electrical system and so on.
The chassis is made from HT300 cast iron, designed with a solid, integrated structure for improved vibration resistance. It features symmetrical components, reinforcing rebars, and triangle reinforcement to ensure rigidity and prevent deformation. The chassis is supported by plane bearings and fixed securely to the machine base with angular contact bearings.
The column is also made from HT300 cast iron, with a symmetrical design for strength and stability. The CNC lathe uses a single-column structure, with the gantry mounted above for enhanced rigidity. It includes rectangular guide rails to ensure accurate movement of the beam.
The beam, made from HT300 cast iron, is designed with enough height and thickness to prevent bending or twisting from cutting forces. The box-type structure offers high resistance to torsion and bending. The X-axis guide rail is designed to resist deformation, ensuring precise linear movement. The beam moves vertically with the help of an AC motor, reducer, and ball screw, and is clamped hydraulically for secure operation.
