1. Vertical machining center
The vertical machining center occupies a small area, the structure is simple, and the price is relatively low, the clamping work is more convenient, the debugging procedure is easy, and the application range is more extensive, but the parts that are too high can not be processed, and the workpieces with relatively small volume such as processing discs, sleeves, and plate parts are generally processed.
2. Horizontal machining center
The machining condition of the horizontal machining center is relatively ideal, and the processing of the remaining four surfaces except the mounting surface and the top surface can be completed after a clamping, which is more suitable for processing box parts, and the pentahedral processing can be realized after installing the angle head.
Therefore, when choosing a machining center, the choice of vertical or horizontal mainly depends on what the object to be processed is.
